Legal
Terms of use
Draft, October 12, 2026
Draft pending legal review. These terms are a draft and have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. They cover this website, enrollment requests and, in sections 4 and 5, course purchases and refunds. They will be finalized before enrolment opens.
1. About this site
This website provides information about the video course Engineering AI for Healthcare, created by Dr. Mondana Ebrahimi and Joy Ardanaz (“we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms.
2. Educational information only
The site and the course are for education. They are not medical, legal, regulatory or professional advice, and they do not replace the judgment of qualified professionals or your organization's policies. Do not use any example, code or data from the course to make decisions about real patients.
3. Enrollment requests and inquiries
Sending an enrollment request or an inquiry does not create a purchase, a reservation or any obligation for you or for us. Course availability, content, pricing and dates may change before launch. How we handle your details is described in our privacy policy.
4. Purchases and access
Course enrolment is sold by ME Project Management Consulting Collective Inc., operating as Healthcare Engineering Academy. Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include sales tax; any tax that applies is shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never receive or store your card details.
An individual purchase gives one person access to the course. A team purchase gives the buyer a number of seats to assign to individual people; each seat is for one named person and cannot be shared. Access is for personal learning and is tied to the email address used to pay or the address a seat is assigned to.
5. Refunds
If the course is not right for you, emailcontact@healthtrustiq.com within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full to the original payment method, as long as no certificate has been issued for that purchase. For a team purchase, the 14-day refund covers the whole purchase, provided no certificate has been issued to any of its seats. Access to the course ends when a refund is made. After 14 days, purchases are not refundable except where the law requires it. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
6. Intellectual property
The text, videos, images, curriculum and other materials on this site are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You may view them for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish or redistribute them without our written permission.
7. Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the site, including by submitting false or automated form entries, attempting to disrupt the service, or trying to access data that is not yours.
8. No warranty and limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about it and are not liable for any loss arising from its use.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.(Jurisdiction to be confirmed by the owners.)
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed.
